Hindy Katz has continuously progressed in her nursing profession. She began in the home-care industry with stints in both the LHCSA and the CHAA industries. In conjunction with furthering her general education and experience, she obtained her Oasis Certification and ICD-10 coding licenses for home care reimbursement.

Hindy earned her WOCN certification from Emory University, allowing her to use her excellent assessment and critical thinking skills to help the homebound.
Hindy earned her credentials as a Legal Nurse Consultant from the Colorado Nurses Association, which is approved by ANCCCA.

Her career experience include roles as an RN in a NY Hospital ER, at a high-acuity ventilator unit, and as a unit manager in a skilled nursing facility.

What began as a normal Risk Management role, equipped with her knowledge, swiftly evolved into a hands-on program to mitigate claims at the facility level in real-time.

Realizing it’s value to the skilled nursing industry and as a dedicated healthcare professional, hands-on leader, and consummate innovator, Hindy founded Mitig8 Comprehensive Risk Management. A highly regarded program at the forefront of the facility-level risk management sector. She and her team of nurse consultants, working closely with a prestigious defense council firm, provide real-time feedback to detect, measure, and mitigate facility risk.
