Tamar Abell is third generation nursing home operator and licensed nursing home administrator who has worked in long term care for over 25 years. Following her personal experience in working with the OIG and implementing a corporate compliance program, Abell developed an online training company (Upstairs Solutions) and later went on to become the Executive Vice President of Strategic Development for Care2Learn and Relias Learning.
Since 2013, Abell consultants with long term care facilities regarding QAPI, risk management and compliance, specializing in implementing quality of care corporate integrity agreements and working with the OIG and Federal Monitors. Tamar has worked with legal teams on negotiating and then implementing over 15 quality of care corporate integrity agreements, with a focus on operations , system development and data analysis.
Abell has published and presented nationally regarding compliance and is currently CEO of TBA Consultants, corporate compliance consulting and solutions.
