Mr. Dobkin joined Meridian in 2011 and currently serves as a Managing Director and co-head of the company’s senior housing finance platform. He is responsible for the origination, underwriting, and placement of loans pertaining to senior housing and healthcare properties and is a specialist in this unique and operationally intensive property type.
Together with his co-head, Ari Adlerstein, Mr. Dobkin has closed over $3 billion in financing throughout his career, with close to $1 billion closed in 2017 alone. In addition to the impressive volume of loans he has closed, Mr. Dobkin has proven himself an expert across a wide variety of financing types, including construction, mezzanine, bridge, balance sheet, and asset-based loans for his clients. In addition to financing, Mr. Dobkin provides a broad array of advisory services including equity capital markets and investment sales.
Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Dobkin was the controller at HTA of New York, and holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
