Howard L. Sollins has practiced law for over 38 years nearly all of them in the Health Law area, both as an Assistant Attorney General with Maryland’s Department of Health and in private practice since 1985, now with the BakerOber Health Group at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz. Howard is a graduate of George Washington University, with a BA in Comparative Religion. He earned his JD at the Washington College of Law at American University. He is a member of the Legal Committee of the American Health Care Association, is a past Chair of the Health Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association, and is a past member of the Legal Committee at Leading Age. He is currently the Vice President of Comprehensive Housing Assistance, Inc. (an agency of The Associated Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore) and is Chair of the Board of Advisors for the University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Social Work. He is listed for his work in health law in multiple editions of the Best Lawyers in America, Chambers and Superlawyers. He is a past recipient of The Daily Record’s Leadership in Law award.
