Bio
Adam Mather is a native of Atlanta Georgia but has predominately lived in Louisville, Kentucky where he currently resides. Adam holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University in Nursing and a Master of Health Administration from Cornell University.

His career has primarily been in long-term care where he has operated individual facilities up to overseeing a portfolio of facilities as a Vice President of Operations. He has served on several professional and community boards including the KAHCF board. He served as the Inspector General for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services during the first Andy Beshear administration. During his time as Inspector General, he was a member of the Kentucky COVID-19 response team and coordinated health care efforts, which included the implementation of a 3,000-
person field hospital, coordinated global and surveillance testing and immunization efforts in long-term care settings.

His current role is the President of the Kentucky Association of Health care Facilities and Kentucky Center of Assisted Living. Adam is
married to his wife; Martha and they have two children Lewis and Abigail.
