Jalene Carpenter serves as President and CEO of the Nebraska Health Care Association. NHCA is parent to the Nebraska Nursing Facility Association; Nebraska Assisted Living Association; Nebraska Health Care Learning Center, a licensed, accredited college; and Nebraska Health Care Foundation, a 501c3 charitable organization.
She has been a licensed nursing home administrator for 15 years and is a graduate of the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living Future Leader Program. As an administrator, Jalene led teams through their pursuits to earn 2014 Bronze and 2016 Silver AHCA-NCAL National Quality Awards. She is a frequent local, state, and national speaker on the topics of quality, leadership, and advocacy in long-term care. Jalene serves on AHCA/NCAL’s Independent Owner Council.
Jalene received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash. She and her husband, Ryan, have two children, Nyla and Crosby.
